Tintern is committed to providing the best learning environment possible for your child. The best way to create this optimal environment is to deliver the right balance between staff/students ratios whilst providing opportunities for personal, social and emotional growth – this is why we are capping class sizes across all stages of schooling.

Where numbers exceed maximum because of unforeseen factors, additional staffing will be provided.
The School Board may vary policy if government funding arrangements change.
Year 10 students study core subjects in gender specific classes.
Years 11 - 12 students study in mixed classes.
