Our Community
Working with parents across both campuses, the Community Relations Office provides parents with opportunities to socialise, get to know each other and feel part of the school community.
We work closely with the parent committees and special interest groups in scheduling and planning activities to ensure the event is a successful and positive experience for everyone. There are many ways in which parents and family members can support the Schools’ programs and we would be happy to help you find a way that suits you.
The past students of the Girls Grammar and the Boys Grammar remain connected to the school and each other through the Community Relations Office and we always enjoy receiving emails and photos from past students. Most of these can be seen either in Factis magazine or on the website.
Located in Kennedy Cottage, behind the Uniform Shop at the Tintern campus, the Community Relations Office provides parents with a space for small social gatherings as well as meeting and IT facilities to assist with school community activities.

Current Events and Information
2009 Secondhand book sale: Parent volunteers from the Tintern and Southwood community coordinate a Secondhand book sale every year as a service to the Tintern Schools' Community. The Secondhand book sale allows families to purchase second hand books and to sell current text books. A commission of 10% is levied on books sold and the proceeds donated back to the School for the purchase of class sets. 2010 Booklists: All secondary students should have now received their 2010 booklist in the mail. Once you have collected your second hand order you can complete your 2010 booklist. Please be aware that all orders can also be completed online by using the following links:
