finding your wings

Young minds are eager to learn about themselves and the world around them, and what they’ll discover at Tintern will help them find their wings as they set out on their educational journey.

Register now for our ELC Open Morning on Tuesday 28 March 2017.

A flying start

The best start you can give your children is a great educational opportunity in an environment of learning and fun, when their growing minds are seeking answers to life’s questions.

Tintern’s Early Learning Centre caters for children from ages three to five, who are encouraged to explore, create and develop both socially and academically as they start out on their educational journey.

The centre is staffed by a highly qualified team who help the children explore their creativity both inside the classroom and out, where there is lots of play equipment for them to enjoy and opportunities to explore the lush, natural surrounds of the campus.

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development  awarded our ELC and After School Care top marks of ‘Exceeding National Quality Standard’. With this top rating, you can be confident that your child is receiving the best possible care.

Our Early Childhood Program is designed to create a sense of wonder about the world and give students courage to explore, investigate and experiment.

We build their literacy skills through the respected ‘Letterland’ program, which provides an exciting introduction to letters and words, and encourage them to explore the world of numbers through a range of activities.

A Perceptual Motor Program helps to develop children’s motor skills, as they participate in body and space awareness activities, and PE classes help them learn the basics of sport.

Students also attend classes at our Music Centre, where they can create sounds and their own songs.

“If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, why oh why can’t I?”
