Tintern Grammar seeks to appoint an experienced PA/Coordinator, who will provide effective high-level administrative support to the School. The successful applicant will report to the Vice Principal and the Human Resources Manager.

Our ideal candidate is someone with experience as a PA or high-level Administrator/Coordinator who has a strong work ethic, has excellent organisation and communication skills. You must possess excellent ICT skills including MS Office and database management. You will be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and deliver high standards of quality work. This is an autonomous role with plenty of opportunity to add value.

To be successful in this role you will need the ability to manage and prioritise within a busy environment and have strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

About the role

As a key member of our School, you will be able to provide a strong level of customer service and administrative support to the community at Tintern Grammar.  This role is challenging, interesting and instrumental in ensuring the smooth and effective flow of daily activities for the Vice Principal and Human Resource area. You will be highly organised and passionate about working within a School environment with professionals.  This role will provide an exciting opportunity to be involved in the learning program of the School.

About you

The successful applicant will have:

·         demonstrated on the job experience

·         experience in Microsoft office forms, surveys

·         demonstrated event management

·         a warm and welcoming professional manner as the first point of contact for the Vice Principal’s Office and HR

·         a post-secondary study in business administration or related area and/or comparable on the job experience

·         evidence of implementing effective standards of improvement

·         a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality

·         strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high standards of quality work

·         effective organisational and planning skills

·         highly developed computer skills and literacy, particularly with MS Office and database management systems

·         high level of written and verbal communication skills

·         highly developed interpersonal skills

·         professional presentation

·         a desire to work collaboratively and as part of the School community

Desirable Criteria

·         Experience with Synergetic database or a similar system

·         Experience working in the Learning and Development area

·         Experience in Microsoft Teams platform

·         Experience in Microsoft OneNote
