Lunch with the ladies of the 1940’s
At Tintern we enjoy a strong bond with our Alumni community and remain connected with Alumni from all decades. On Tuesday 8 November, Di Lacey, Alumni and Community Relations Manager, had the pleasure to attend a lunch with a group of alumnae from the forties, all in their 90s (except one – Di Sexton).
They enjoyed a lovely lunch at Pat Pickings resident apartments in Camberwell, with many stories shared of their time at Tintern in Hawthorn. Pat brought along photos and the afternoon was spent reminiscing and recalling everyone’s name.
