Year 9 student Mitch Snowball current U17 Cross Country Eliminator MTB National Champion and U17 Cyclocross Victorian State Champion

Congratulations to Year 9 student Mitch Snowball who has achieved some fantastic XCO racing results this year. Mitch is the current U17 MTB National Champion for the Cross Country Eliminator and U17 Cyclocross Victorian State Champion. Well done, Mitch! Good luck for this weekend’s U17 Cyclocross National Championships in Bright.

Three Senior College Netball teams represent Tintern Grammar at Schools’ Netball Championships

Three Tintern Grammar teams participated in the Schools’ Netball Championships at the State Netball Centre on Friday 27 July. Our students competed against schools from across the state and played with vigour and their usual good sportsmanship, and above all they had fun on a glorious winter’s day. Well done, everyone!

Victorian Interschool Snow Skiing Cross Country Championships Results

Congratulations to Charlie (Year 9) and Ella Carboon (Year 6) who competed at the recent Victorian Interschool Cross Country Championships at Mt Buller. They both competed in cross-country skiing events, with Charlie placing 13th out of 34 competitors, and Ella placing 21st of 48 competitors.  Well done, Charlie and Ella!

Boys’ Middle School students represent Tintern Grammar at State Squash Finals

Congratulations to Yuvraj Pandher, Craig Bonnington and Lachlan Bastin in our Boys’ Middle School who competed in the Year 9 and 10 State Squash finals at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Thursday 2 August.

The students played extremely well winning two and losing two matches, one which was extremely close. They put in a terrific effort and were just a few points off making the next round of finals.

Well done, Yuvraj, Craig and Lachlan!
