Tintern Communities Limited is an official body, incorporated to oversee all of Tintern Grammar’s Community groups. The Tintern Communities purpose is to facilitate dialogue between parents, community groups and the School Board and to guide and advise members of Community groups. Current Chairman is Mr Bradley Fry, the School Principal. The principle activity of Tintern Communities is to raise funds for Tintern Grammar and to encourage present and former: pupils, parents and guardians, and other friends of the School, to promote and work for the welfare and advancement of the School.

Music plays an important part in our School’s life and Tintern Grammar’s music students and staff have a strong, committed supporter base with Tintern Friends of Music (FOM).
Powered by a common love of music, this passionate group of parents and staff work to bring greater awareness and appreciation of all forms of music to the School community.
FOM volunteers perform the vital role of fundraising, as well as generously devoting their time and energy to ensure the success of a variety of musical productions and events featuring Tintern Grammar music students.
New members are always welcome to join and become involved in supporting our young musicians with their endeavours.
Tintern Friends of Music host a range of special events each year, including Jazz Night and Munch with the Musos.
Meetings are held throughout the year. To register your interest in joining Friends of Music please contact fom@tintern.vic.edu.au

Tintern Grammar’s Friends of Young Farmers is an enthusiastic group of parent volunteers with a love of farming, sustainability and animals.
We enjoy sharing the joy of our children’s experiences as they take part in studies and activities at the School’s unique Tinternwood Farm.
New members are always warmly welcomed to join FOYF and we encourage all new parents, alumni, staff and members of the wider school community to join us.

The Friends of Snowsports is an enthusiastic and growing group whose aim is to build the awareness and participation in Snowsports at Tintern Grammar.
We are keen to include new members who would like to be involved, expanding activities and opportunities for students. Parents and staff members from both the Junior and Secondary Schools are welcome to join Friends of Snowsports. No special skills are required, except a willingness to get involved and a desire to support the Snowsports students at Tintern Grammar.
For more information about Friends of Snowsports and to register your interest please contact the Community Relations Office communityrelations@tintern.vic.edu.au.

All Tintern Grammar parents are warmly encouraged to become part of the Tintern Parent Group (TPG).
Membership provides a wonderful way for parents to meet other parents and through participation feel fully part of the School community.
Members make a vital contribution by helping to arrange and take part in community events, organise fund raisers for special projects, and while doing so forge links and create friendships that will last long after school days are over.
Parents Group members also have the satisfaction of working on projects the whole school community benefits from such as Community Fair, Barefoot Bowls, Mothers’ Day breakfasts, Fathers’ Day stalls, and a range of fundraising events for various causes and projects.
If you’d like to join our friendly, active group, please contact parentgroup@tintern.vic.edu.au
