
The Tintern Grammar Avenue of Excellence formally celebrates and honours the outstanding achievements and contributions of exceptional alumni who have excelled in their chosen field and made a significant impact on their profession, industry, community, or society.
The Avenue of Excellence showcases alumni who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at a national or international level and whose accomplishments inspire current and future generations of Tintern Grammar students.
Inductees represent a diverse range of fields and pursuits, demonstrating that excellence can be achieved through leadership, innovation, service, creativity, determination, and dedication. Previous inductees include Helen Reddy, Scotty James, Penelope Thwaites AM and most recently Kate Jenkins AO, Class of 1985.
Nominations are considered in the following categories:
These categories reflect the many ways in which Tintern alumni contribute to and shape the world around them.
The nominee must be a past student of Tintern (including Tintern Girls’ Grammar School, Southwood Boys’ School and other variations of the school’s name).
A nominee may be nominated for more than one category.
Nominees should have attained a level of excellence that is recognised as outstanding within their profession, industry or field of endeavour, demonstrating exceptional achievement and making a significant contribution to their community or discipline.
Nominations must be made by a fellow Alumni, peer, community member, or current or former member of staff. Self-nominations are not eligible for consideration.
Only nominations on the approved nomination form will be considered.
