Welcome to Tintern Schools.

As you navigate your way around our site, I hope that you will get a real feel for our two school campuses at our Boys Grammar (Southwood) and Girls Grammar (Tintern), our caring and open educational philosophy and our students!

At the Boys Grammar - Southwood, we want to provide every student with the challenges and opportunities they need to develop their full potential. We do this by offering a unique dual education system that enables girls and boys to learn in a single sex environment till Year 10 and then explore a variety of learning pathways that may involve single sex, mixed classes or both, as they study VCE, VET subjects or IB.

When you visit the Boys Grammar, one of the first things you’ll notice is our wonderful bushland setting. The boys are accommodated in a contemporary learning environment purpose-built to suit the educational needs of boys. Our boys also utilise the wonderful facilities at our Girls Grammar, such as the Gymnasium and Aquatic Centre, Commercial Kitchens, and working farm.
