At Tintern Grammar, we are fundamentally committed to the care and wellbeing of our students.
We strive to ensure every child enjoys a safe and nurturing school environment.
By promoting emotional and intellectual wellbeing, Tintern Grammar gives children not just a sense of belonging, but enhances their opportunities for learning.
We understand that students who feel secure, well cared for and engaged are better able to learn, form lasting friendships, and succeed in later life.
Tintern Grammar has developed and instituted a Wellbeing Program to help students build self-confidence, as well as encourage and foster self-belief.
The Program helps students to develop fully by teaching them resilience, courage and demonstrates how to care for and show real empathy for others.
Our Wellbeing Program has the flexibility to suit the needs of students in each age group, and is able to address the developmental needs of every child in our care.
Amongst services the School provides are qualified on-site Pastoral Mentors, a Counsellor, International Student Coordinators, Chaplain and First Aid staff.
At the heart of Tintern’s Wellbeing Program are our School values, underpinned by our ‘Compass’.
