Tintern Grammar seeks to appoint an IT Technician – Level 1 & 2 Support.  The role requires an exceptional IT professional who is passionate about providing high level service to the Tintern Grammar community.

About the role

As a part of the IT Services team, our IT Technician often provides the first line of support for our staff and students via our online helpdesk. We are an iPad school from Prep to Year 9 with BYOD options at Years 10-12. Our Learning Management System (Schoolbox) and other associated databases such as EdSmart and Synergetic support staff, student and parent connections to the school. All staff and students use the MS Office 365 suite including Teams for remote learning.

This is an ongoing, full time role with an immediate start

About you

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to learn new skills including a desire for ongoing training over time
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment, including adapting to changing priorities when required
  • Hands on experience with servicing desktops, laptops, iPads to diagnose faults, and determine appropriate course of action for problem resolution
  • Commitment to service quality principles
