China Tour (Years 10–12) April 2017
Tintern Grammar is again offering a tour to China in March and April 2017, for students in Years 10-12. Departure will be in the last week of Term 1 2017, returning at the beginning of the second week of the Term 1 holidays. The cost will be approximately $4600 depending on the number of students.
The tour is open to all, with preference given to students studying Chinese Language, History, Geography, Economics or Art. The main requirement, however, is for students to show a real interest in learning about a country that is of immense importance to Australia for a wide range of economic, strategic and cultural reasons. The cities selected for next year’s tour are Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Suzhou and Chengdu in south-western China.
